Non si può andare a Milano e non fare una passeggiata nella zona a Nord della città per vedere questo complesso architettonico moderno i cui grattacieli, le torri, sono diventate uno dei simboli più iconici della città meneghina.

Il Bosco Verticale è un complesso di due palazzi residenziali a torre progettato da Boeri Studio (Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca e Giovanni La Varra) e situato nel Centro direzionale di Milano, ai margini del quartiere Isola. Peculiarità di queste costruzioni, ambedue inaugurate nel 2014, è la presenza di più di duemila specie arboree, tra arbusti e alberi ad alto fusto, distribuite sui prospetti. Si tratta di un ambizioso progetto di riforestazione metropolitana che attraverso la densificazione verticale del verde si propone di incrementare la biodiversità vegetale e animale del capoluogo lombardo, riducendone l’espansione urbana e contribuendo anche alla mitigazione del microclima.

The seafront promenade from Torre Fara to Chiavari.
The last stretch of the promenade in Chiavari which was restored a couple of years ago.
In addition to Torre Fara (formerly Colonia Fara) there are also a couple of buildings in unusual styles and colors.

The structure, dedicated to the memory of General Gustavo Fara, was commissioned by the National Fascist Party in 1935 as a seaside holiday resort for children, to be used mainly in the summer. The building, an example of Italian rationalism, was designed by Camillo Nardi Greco and Lorenzo Castello and was built between 1935 and 1936.

Un palazzo moderno in centro a Chiavari.
Nella splendida cittadina di Chiavari, da fotografare, non ci sono solamente i carruggi e i portici signorili ma anche dei palazzi alti e moderni.
Come questo bel palazzine in Via Jacopo Rocca che mi era piaciuto da fotografare soprattutto per quell’arco in cemento sopra alla colonna dei balconi.

The porticos of Santa Margherita Ligure.
The porticos are one of the most recurring architectural aspects in my Liguria.
Probably the most spectacular are in Chiavari but in any case in all the towns you can find glimpses with beautiful porticos.
Like these that are in Santa Margherita Ligure that divide the outdoor areas from the kitchens of the restaurants.

Hue and the red columns.
Inside the mythical Imperial city there are many palaces adorned with red columns. To tell the truth, red is one of the dominant colors of all Vietnam.
This was the entrance to one of the many palaces inside the vast residence of the Emperor of Vietnam.
A magical place and an absolute must-see if you are planning a trip to this Asian state.

Vicoli moderni di Chiavari

Vicoli moderni di Chiavari.
Nella citta’ di Chiavari, uno degli elementi piu’ caratteristici sono certamente gli antichi portici dei vicoli dei vari carruggi.
La bella cittadina, quando ha costruito questo nuovo palazzo in centro, ha continuato su questo stile ammodernizzando un pochino le forme ma mantenendo comunque l’ardesia e i colori bicromi.
Questo ora e’ il palazzo in cui ha sede la Polizia Municipale chiavarese.

Riuscirò, prima o poi, ad uscire a Tunisi?
Con la nave ci sono già stato diverse volte ma mai sono riuscito ad andare oltre la banchina del porto.
Sarà che tutta questa voglia non ce l’ho…
Comunque anche dalla nave si può già intravedere lo stile architettonico nordafricano…
