The Bay of Silence one February morning.
One beautiful February morning, exactly February 29, 2024, armed with my ever-present camera I immortalized the beautiful bay that is the symbol of my town, Sestri Levante, but also of my region.
With the sun at my back kissing the houses, the photos came out really well!

In July the famous Bay of Sestri Levante is stormed by bathers who fill, to the last centimetre, the short strip of land that separates the houses from the sea.

Last summer (actually, even the one before) I took several photos in the Bay of Silence with the Gopro and the Dome (that device that looks like a bubble that allows photos half in and half out of the water) and, while I was swimming to go a little towards the Ex Annunziata I photographed this beautiful seagull that was blissfully sitting on one of the boats moored in the bay.

The Bay of Silence in Sestri Levante in February.
There are times of the year and certain days that the Bay is even more beautiful.
Like the day I took these photos (and many others that I will slowly add); it was February 24, 2024 and it was a truly beautiful morning with the sun behind us.

The Bay of Silence at the end of May 2023.
Last year I was at home in one of the best times to enjoy the Bay of Silence: the end of May and the beginning of June.
The weather is already warm but there is not yet that summer crowd that fills the beach (or at least during the week there is not).
The best time as I said.

My town is very spoiled in summer but in winter, for its true lovers, it is even more beautiful.
It is almost always deserted and the colors are always spectacular, both in sunny and bad weather.

Last winter I was at home and I took the opportunity to, as they say, put hay in the barn for the months when I will be on the ship.
This was the bay of Portobello, known by all as the Bay of Silence, the renowned beach of my Sestri Levante.

Last year, armed with a camera, I took some shots of the Bay at night.
