The Bay of Silence on July 18, 2018
A few days ago I took some more photos in our beautiful Baia del Silenzio (Portobello) in Sestri Levante.
This one was also built from the churchyard of the Capuchin convent, where there is a splendid view.
As you can see from the photo, however, the sea water these days is particularly green near the Citto Bar.
But don't worry: it's a completely natural thing; they are algae or algae pollen that when it gets very hot proliferate and leave these sediments adrift. If you notice, in fact, the current carries them, in greater quantities, to the farthest point of the bay.

La Baia il 21 giugno 2018.
Il mio soggetto preferito di Sestri Levante è la Baia del Silenzio.
Tutte le volte che riesco scatto foto qui anche se ormai credo di aver quasi terminato la fantasia su come scattare qualcosa di nuovo.
Allora aggiusto di colore o di inquadratura giusto per non annoiare voi visitatori.
Io, comunque, non mi stanco mai di vederla!

Acque blu in Baia del Silenzio

Acque blu in Baia del Silenzio.
Questa mattina la Baia del Silenzio (Portobello) di Sestri Levante era veramente splendida: acque blu e limpide; cielo quasi completamente limpido e temperatura quasi al top.
Ci mancava solo un bagnetto come, per altro, in tanti già facevano ma purtroppo non avevo il costume. Oggi, 20 giugno 2018, sembrava proprio che l’estate fosse iniziata con un giorno d’anticipo.
L’immagine è leggermente aiutata con l’HDR ma i colori erano veramente quelli.

La Baia del Silenzio con il sole dopo le nuvole il 13 giugno 2018.
Questo pomeriggio sono stato per un paio d’ore sulle panchine che sovrastano la Baia del Silenzio per fare un video in time-laps con le nuvole che piano piano hanno lasciato il cielo al sole.
Purtroppo però ho sbagliato ad impostare la mia Gopro e quindi vi posso lasciare solamente questo paio di scatti, comunque bellissimi credo, della Baia del Silenzio (Portobello) baciata dal sole e con le nuvole sullo sfondo.

A beautiful butterfly with the Bay of Silence in the background.
This morning, today is May 26, 2018, as usual I popped into the Bay of Silence (Portobello) to enjoy a few minutes of sun.
While I was on the Cappuccini climb, looking for the best spot to immortalize the beach, today really full of bathers (it seems the summer heat has finally arrived), I happened to see a beautiful butterfly land on these flowers.
And it even stayed still for several seconds!
