The Bay of Silence on July 18, 2018
A few days ago I took some more photos in our beautiful Baia del Silenzio (Portobello) in Sestri Levante.
This one was also built from the churchyard of the Capuchin convent, where there is a splendid view.
As you can see from the photo, however, the sea water these days is particularly green near the Citto Bar.
But don't worry: it's a completely natural thing; they are algae or algae pollen that when it gets very hot proliferate and leave these sediments adrift. If you notice, in fact, the current carries them, in greater quantities, to the farthest point of the bay.
