Chiavari e il suo porto visti da Sestri Levante. Nelle giornate invernali di bel tempo si riesce quasi sempre ad arrivare con l’occhio elettronico dei teleobiettivi molto distante. Le immagini, come questa, magari non sono proprio nitidissime ma il risultato è comunque originale. In questa, realizzata direttamente dalla passeggiata a mare della mia Sestri Levante, si vede in primis la fitta rete di alberi e pennoni delle barche ormeggiate nel porticciolo chiavarese e, alle sue spalle, l’alto ed inconfondibile palazzo conosciuto da tutti come la Colonia Fara.

The little square of Vernazza I couldn't say which is more beautiful, this little square or the other very famous little square in the village of Portofino. The one in Vernazza, however, is not bad at all. This photo was taken in early June from the path coming from Monterosso.

A beautiful sunset in Hoi An in Vietnam One of the best times to enjoy a walk in this little village is in the late afternoon at sunset. Soon the lanterns for which the town is famous will begin to be lit. But let's stay at sunset: the reddish lights make the already magical atmosphere of this place even more surreal. Barchette da pesca a Da Nang. La pesca è uno dei settori economici più sfruttati in Asia ed il Vietnam non è certo una eccezione. Per soddisfare la richiesta di pesce qui potete vedere che numero di barche pronte a salpare ci sono. E’ un porticciolo appena fuori Da Nang, per andare verso la penisola di Thọ Quang. Mi piacevano i colori delle barchette, il blu in particolare.

Trang An: le grotte e i laghetti di questo luogo fantastico. La spettacolare zona, nella provincia di Ninh Binh a Sud della capitale Hanoi, famosa per la sua natura incontaminata. Questa gita, affrontata da una quantità enorme di turisti (ormai non c’è più un luogo nel mondo che non lo sia), percorre in piccole barchette da 4/5 persone questi laghetti e fiumiciattoli che attraversano il fitto complesso di colline rocciose e grotte tutto attorno. Ci sono tre percorsi da scegliere, che credo cambino poco uno dall’altro. Noi abbiamo scelto il primo (che durava 3 ore – ma era la durata canonica di tutti e tre) ed è stato veramente spettacolare. Non a caso il sito è dal 2014 patrimonio dell’UNESCO (here per la loro pagina in inglese dedicata a questo luogo). Tra l’altro solo a metà del percorso abbiamo scoperto che c’erano anche delle pagaie aggiuntive per poter aiutare il povero barcaiolo che fino a quel momento avrà fatto una fatica a portarci.

Il piccolo porticciolo di Framura. Qualche mese fa sono andato a fare una camminata nella pista ciclopedonale che da Framura va a Levanto. Partenza dal porticciolo del paesino di Framura che di prima mattina era veramente un posto quieto e splendido.
