Spiagge da sogno: la splendida Grand Anse a Grenada. Una delle spiagge caraibiche che più mi piacciono e’ sicuramente Grand Anse. Principalmente per due ragioni: la prima, e la potete vedere dalle foto, e’ la bellezza del luogo; la seconda, che per un marittimo non e’ da poco, ci vogliono dieci minuti di taxi per raggiungerla.

Albero in spiaggia a Grenada. Una delle spiagge piu’ belle di Grenada e’ sicuramente quella di Grand Anse nella quale fanno capolino alcune piante di mangrovie. Questa foto, che ho elaborato un pochino per rimuovere alcune persone che facevano il bagno, mi piaceva proprio moltissimo. A voi non fa proprio venire voglia di coricarvi alla sua ombra e fare un pisolino dopo un bagno in mare? Io, qualche settimana fa sono proprio riuscito a farlo, godendo di questo posto magnifico. Vi invito a prenotare una crociera Costa ai Caraibi per l’anno prossimo e forse anche voi potrete vedere questo splendido albero in spiaggia!

La passeggiata dell’isola di St Maarten ai Caraibi. Quando si va al mare e’ poi anche molto rilassante sedersi in un bar lungo la spiaggia a bere qualcosa. Questa e’ la passeggiata che accompagna la bella spiaggia di Great Bay, a Sint Maarten, e che probabilmente di tutte le isole che ho visitato in questa stagione e’ la piu sviluppata. Ci sono decine di negozi (di souvenir) e decine di bars/ristorantini per tutti i gusti. Buona passeggiata!

Dream beaches: Vinh Nam Chong Bay in Vietnam. One of the most beautiful beaches I have photographed in this country, unfortunately without being able to visit it. The beach is located along the road that connects the city of Da Nang with that of Hue. A panoramic road that climbs the mountain overlooking the Vietnamese city. An exceptional view and this beach, with an adjoining five-star resort.

Dream beaches: Grand Anse in Grenada. The island of Grenada also has a really nice little beach not far from the ship. I honestly don't know if it's the most beautiful and famous on the island. I'll just say that it's really beautiful and, even if the day I was there wasn't one of the nicest (meteorologically speaking) it was definitely worth a nice swim. The sand is very fine, the water (fresh) is quite transparent and there are several resorts (perhaps a little too many) that provide you with sunbeds and drinks. Very touristy unfortunately!

Spiagge da sogno: Lambert Bay a Tortola. Una delle spiagge piu’ belle e incontaminate dell’isola di Tortola nelle British Virgin Island caraibiche. C’e’ solo uno splendido resort in questa spiaggia molto naturale e poco frequentata. Abbiamo capito che spesso il mare e mosso in questa piccola baia ed infatti ci sono diversi cartelli di pericolo per fare il bagno. Ovviamente non ci hanno fermato e ci siamo goduti un paio di ore di relax al sole caraibico.

Tortola è la maggiore e la più popolosa isola del territorio d’oltremare del Regno Unito delle Isole Vergini britanniche. Essa ospita il capoluogo del territorio, Road Town. La tradizione locale racconta che fu Cristoforo Colombo che nominò l’isola Tórtola, come l’uccello tortora in italiano. Nei fatti, Colombo nominò l’isola “Santa Ana”. Dream beaches: Dickenson Bay in Antigua. One of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Antigua and in the entire Caribbean is this one. Perhaps, some more experienced visitors than me (and with more time available) could dispute this initial sentence of mine but I always have very little time and I rarely have the possibility of going very far from the port where my ship is docked. Despite this, as soon as I have my free hours, I always try to enjoy these earthly paradises and this was one of them. White sand (even if I must admit that for the moment the whitest I have found is in Barbados) and turquoise sea, trademark of the Caribbean and dreams!

Spiagge da sogno: Brewers Bay a Tortola. Nell’isola di Tortola, nelle Virgin British Islands, ci sono diverse spiagge che meritano di essere viste. Vi ho gia’ segnalato Long Bay Beach. Questa invece e’ la piu’ remota, naturalisticamente parlando, Brewers. Pochi turisti, spiaggia di sabbia bianca (ma non bianchissima). Acqua azzurra e un po’ di barriera corallina facile da esplorare. Una caratteristica ulteriore di questa spiaggia sono i molti pellicani che si lanciano in rapidi tuffi nell’acqua per pescare qualche pesciolino. E lo fanno a pochi metri dalle persone. Spiaggia splendida e da visitare assolutamente!
Dream beaches: Brownie beach in Barbados. Absolutely the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean I have ever been to. Fine white sand and transparent turquoise water. A couple of kilometers from the port (I walked there in 20 minutes but returned by taxi) this beach offers everything: bars, restaurants, resorts, sports activities, boat trips... but you can simply lay your towel on the sand and dive into the sea.
