The Devil's Bridge in Borgo Mozzano near Lucca.
Some time ago I went on a trip to Lucca, the splendid Tuscan town. On the way back we decided to take the normal road (and not the highway) to discover an area that I had never seen and to pass by this mysterious bridge.
The Devil's Bridge in Mozzano (one of the various bridges nicknamed in this way that can be found in Italy) is truly impressive and it is easy to understand why the devil must have had a hand in creating it.

Here is the guide to the village on the website Comune.

Here is where the village is located:

Legend has it that the master builder engaged in the construction of the bridge was very worried about the delay accumulated in the same work, given the continuous and impetuous floods of the river. One evening, taken by desperation, he began to pronounce sacrileges such as to evoke Satan. Then the devil told the master builder that he would complete the work himself in a single night in exchange for the first soul that crossed the bridge; the master builder accepted and the construction was completed.
