The village of Vernazza seen from Punta Baffe.
An unusual view of Vernazza taken from Punta Baffe.
We are now used to aerial views taken from drones, and they are truly spectacular.
I, who do not have a drone, have to make do (as we used to do once) with views from above or from afar.
I took this one last summer, I hope you like it even though the colors are not exceptional due to the humidity which made it difficult to take good shots with the telephoto lens.

Qualche mese fa sono andato a fare una camminata nella pista ciclopedonale che da Framura va a Levanto.
Partenza dal porticciolo del paesino di Framura che di prima mattina era veramente un posto quieto e splendido.

Mount Serro (421 m. above sea level) is the highest peak in the Framura area and belongs to the protected area of ​​the Cinque Terre.

Il borgo di Loto

Il borgo di Loto.
Tra i paesini e borghi nel comprensorio di Sestri Levante ce n’è anche uno che si chiama Loto.
Si trova lungo la strada che passa a San Bernardo e che si ricongiunge a quella che va a Libiola e a Montedomenico.
Poco prima c’è anche la deviazione che porta alla Selva.

Un’altra bella foto del borgo marinaro genovese di Boccadasse. Lo splendido borgo che in molti avranno già visto e che finalmente sono riuscito a visitare e a fotografare qualche giorno fa.

Boccadasse (Boca d’azë or Bocadâze in Genoese) is an ancient seaside village in the city of Genoa, which is part of the Albaro district. In the current administrative division of the municipality of Genoa it is therefore included in the Municipio VIII – Medio Levante, which in addition to Albaro also includes the Foce and San Martino districts.

Boccadasse, la perla di Genova sul mare

Boccadasse, the pearl of Genoa on the sea.
A small enchanted village a few steps from the center of Genoa.
From here the villages probably end to leave space for the real city.
It is not the most beautiful photo I took today (I will publish the others slowly) and it is not even the classic image of the small fishing village but I also liked this one a lot.

Vicoli di Bonassola.
Era diverso tempo che mi proponevo di fare la passeggiata (ciclopedonale) tra Framura, Bonassola e Levanto.
Realizzata ristrutturando il tratto della ex ferrovia arriva a Bonassola, uno splendido borgo marinaro che si affaccia sul mar Ligure. Realizzerò un post separato per questo percorso.
Era, credo, la prima volta che lo visitavo e quindi ho scattato diverse foto che spero vi piaceranno!

Secondo alcune fonti storiche il toponimo del paese deriverebbe da Bulnetia o Bodetia, nomi che compaiono in alcuni scritti dell’alto medioevo. Altre fonti, ritenute più valide, porterebbero invece all’antico termine Vallis Bonazolae, indicante quella zona costiera compresa tra le odierne località di Framura, ad occidente, e Levanto ad oriente.

I hadn't been able to visit Manarola lately. Yesterday, thanks to a beautiful September day, I filled the gap and went to the Cinque Terre to take some more photos.
It may not be the most fascinating of the five but it's still really worth a visit!

Vista di Portofino.
Tra le tante località rivierasche che ho fotografato negli ultimi giorni mancava senza dubbio Portofino. Ecco fatto! Oggi gita nel porticciolo e tante foto che piano piano inserirò qui. Questa è sicuramente una delle più belle in hdr. La vista del porticciolo dal sentiero che posta al castello.

Il modo migliore per apprezzare le meraviglie del parco è quello di percorrere in sicurezza i suoi sentieri più caratteristici ed affascinanti, tutti adeguatamente segnalati. Attraversandone la fitta rete di oltre 60 km, è possibile scoprire la ricchezza e la varietà degli ambienti naturali, dei panorami e dei complessi monumenti del promontorio.

La nascita del borgo varesino trae la sua origine dalla posizione strategica posta all’incrocio delle strade transappenniniche dirette verso Parma e Tortona. Le vie che partono da Sestri Levante e Luni a Varese Ligure trovavano infatti facile accesso alla pianura Padana, con la conseguente creazione di un mercato di scambio.
