One of the most beautiful beaches on Caribbean cruises is definitely Dickenson’s in Antigua.
And as you can see from the photo, a few dozen strokes from the shore, there is also a little bar with music!
Don’t worry, there is also a little boat that shuttles back and forth from the beach!

Dream beaches: Long Bay in Tortola.
For the second time in my life I come to this beautiful Caribbean beach located on the small island called Beef Island (beach of the steers) connected to the larger and more famous island of Tortola.
The sea was a little rougher than last time but the colors... those are still the dream colors of the Caribbean.
A 700 meter beach very busy but that however, in the part that goes towards the airport, still has a bit of the charm of the uncontaminated.

I can't get out of the ship very much, but when I do, I always try to go to the beach (being in the Caribbean...).
A few months ago I visited the beautiful beach called Accra Beach (or Rockley Beach), a few kilometers from the port of Bridgetown on the island of Barbados.
I think it's useless to explain much about this beach: you can understand everything from the pictures!

The origin of the name “Barbados” is somewhat controversial. The Portuguese, on their way to Brazil or the Spanish, are credited with being the first Europeans to choose the name for the island.
The name Barbados is said to derive from the Portuguese term os barbados (the bearded ones), given to the island in 1536 by Portuguese explorer Pedro A. Campos because the long, hanging aerial roots of the bearded fig trees (Ficus citrifolia), native to the island, looked like “beards.” The name the Arawak natives gave to the island was Ichirouganaim.

One of the few new beaches I managed to visit in the last Caribbean season of my work was the beautiful Pointe Marin, in the south of the island of Martinique.
Unfortunately the day was a little cloudy but, when the sun came out, the colors were really exceptional and postcard-like, don't you think?

Una delle spiagge caraibiche che più mi piacciono e’ sicuramente Grand Anse.
Principalmente per due ragioni: la prima, e la potete vedere dalle foto, e’ la bellezza del luogo; la seconda, che per un marittimo non e’ da poco, ci vogliono dieci minuti di taxi per raggiungerla.

Dream beach: Dickenson Bay in Antigua.
After a couple of years I return to one of the Caribbean beaches that I liked the most so far. It is located in Antigua and is easy to reach by taxi.
Unfortunately, I must admit, I found it a little unkempt but I imagine that the pandemic has drastically reduced the influx of tourists and therefore the cleanliness of the beaches has also suffered.
However, nature, which is always the protagonist, is always wonderful in Dickenson Bay.

A couple of days ago I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours on this beautiful Caribbean beach.
It is an enchanted oasis a few hundred meters from the main island and there is only beach and coral.
A true paradise.

Bonaire (Dutch: Bonaire, Papiamento: Boneiru) is an island of 288 km² that is a special municipality of the Netherlands (Dutch: bijzondere gemeente), located in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Venezuela. It is the second largest island in the Dutch Caribbean, after Curaçao. Together with Sint Eustatius and Saba, it is part of the BES Islands (or Caribbean Netherlands). The only two inhabited centers are the capital Kralendijk and Rincon.

Spiagge da sogno: Maho Bay ai Caraibi.
Quasi un anno fa ero in questa splendida spiaggia, quasi da sogno, nell’isola di St Martins.
La spiaggia veramente è famosissima più che per la sabbia ed il mare, per il fatto che è situata alla fine della pista di atterraggio dell’aeroporto dell’isola.
Ma comunque la spiaggia è veramente da sogno!
