The Cloister of Sant’Andrea at Porta Soprana in Genoa.
Perhaps one of the most visited spots by tourists arriving in Genoa is this beautiful cloister located between the House of Columbus and the imposing Porta Soprana.
Incredibly, when I took the photo there were only a couple of people in the cloister.

Between 1900 and 1906 the monastic church and parish of Sant'Andrea della Porta, which can be dated back to its first construction at the beginning of the year 1000, was completely demolished, together with the hill on which it was located, to allow for the urban restructuring of the area and the construction of the Palazzo della Banca d'Italia.
