Between the 7th and 8th centuries, following the conquest of Liguria by the Lombards, the Columban monks of Bobbio, who followed the rule of Saint Columbanus and continued their work of evangelization, built a monastery that over time grew to become a religious and economic nerve center. The birth of Brugnato is therefore linked to the foundation of the abbey which, like other monastic sites in Liguria and northern Italy, depended on the abbey of San Colombano di Bobbio.

Salendo verso il faro non si può non ammirare e scattare una foto al fronte mare del borgo di Portofino.
Borgo famoso in tutto il mondo per i vips ed il lusso ma, fondamentalmente, un piccolo e bello borgo marinaro ligure come ve ne sono molti altrettanto belli (ma meno famosi) che cerco di valorizzare su questo sito.

Dal tempo del grande afflusso di ospiti stranieri – dapprima britannici e quindi tedeschi – nei primi anni del Novecento l’economia di Portofino è strettamente legata al turismo. La locale “Piazzetta” sulla quale si affacciano i locali pubblici di ristoro, negozi, boutique e altre attività commerciali è stata nel luglio del 2012 riconosciuta come Locale storico d’Italia, primo e unico attestato rilasciato dall’omonima associazione, per il suo valore storico e culturale.

La bella via Entella nel centro di Chiavari

La bella via Entella nel centro di Chiavari in Liguria.
Quando sono a casa quasi tutti i sabato pomeriggio faccio un salto a Chiavari per passeggiare in carrugio.
Ogni tanto, quando sono a caccia di foto, interrompo il classico struscio e passeggio nelle vie meno frequentate per immortalare qualche scorcio del bel borgo ligure.
E’ questo il caso di via Entella, una bella strada carrabile, con questo andamento circolare e le belle case colorate tutte attaccate l’una alle altre.

Due passi tra le splendide viuzze, anche chiamate calli, e canali di Burano a fotografare le casette colorate tanto famose e tipiche.
A dire la verità anche in Liguria, la mia terra, ci sono luoghi dove le case sono ugualmente colorate ma devo dire che l’effetto a Burano è sorprendente: sembra di essere in un sogno!

Come non postare, ogni tanto, una bella foto della splendida piazza Fieschi il centro nevralgico del Borgo di Varese Ligure (in provincia della Spezia).
Mi affascina ogni volta che ci faccio un salto e sempre scatto decine di foto che poi pubblico piano piano qui.
