Hanoi Cathedral in Vietnam. St. Joseph's Cathedral, a religious building that I did not expect to find in Vietnam. However, if I have to tell the whole truth, I have found, here and there, Christian churches in this country that for several years was under French control.

The Chapel of Santa Rosalia in the Cathedral of Palermo. One of the many monuments that are inside the splendid Palermo church. This chapel, decorated in silver, houses the remains of the patron saint of the city and some bas-reliefs representing the miracles of the Saint.

With Gualtiero Offamilio the cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin represented in three different iconographies: one is the Dormition of the Mother of God or «Koimesis tes Theotokou» or «Dormitio Virginis», which belongs to the Byzantine tradition, the other two belonging to the Latin tradition: the Assumption and the Coronation in Heaven. The interior of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo in Genoa. The most important church in Liguria is also the most majestic. This is the main altar. Built in a style that could be called Ligurian, with alternating green and white marble, it is also very beautiful inside. This is the main nave of the church and you can also see at the top the shield with the cross of St. George, protector of Genoa.

A detail of the Florence Cathedral. The Florence Cathedral, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, is one of the most famous monuments of the Tuscan city, cradle of the Italian Renaissance. In the photo, in particular, you can see the lunette above the main door.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, commonly known as the Florence Cathedral, is the main church of Florence, the symbol of the city and one of the most famous in Italy; when it was completed in the fifteenth century, it was the largest church in the world, while today it is considered the third in Europe after St. Peter's in Rome and the Milan Cathedral. It stands on the foundations of the ancient cathedral of Florence, the church of Santa Reparata, in a part of the city that has hosted places of worship since Roman times.
