San Pietro in Roma.

The famous and wonderful Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa.
I take this opportunity to publish these photos of the famous Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa today with the hope that Christmas can make the wishes you have expressed come true... hoping that they are not miracles!
The two photos are of the same square (you will say: "thanks for the information!") but the first one is processed in HDR to give it a little more, if you like that kind of thing!

The Piazza del Duomo is the most important artistic and tourist center of Pisa. Listed among the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO since 1987, you can admire the monuments that form the center of the city's religious life, called miracles (by Gabriele d'Annunzio in 1910) for their beauty and originality: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Campo Santo and the Bell Tower. From this comes the popular name of Piazza dei Miracoli which then spread in the post-war era of mass tourism.

The Borzone Abbey is certainly not one of the most famous monuments in the world but it is truly a building that leaves you surprised.
Immersed in the greenery and lost in the Chiavari hinterland, the Abbey truly has a charm all its own.
A splendid discovery!

There is also the website: abbaziaborzone.it
A historical-legendary peculiarity is that the abbey is located on the Sacred Line of Saint Michael, an imaginary straight connection between various monasteries in Europe.
I have been to the abbey again and I took many more photos that you can find here:

The two toponyms, Riva and Trigoso, were combined for the first time in 1874, in the name of the railway station “Riva-Trigoso”, then located halfway between the two villages. The joint name gradually entered common use, to improperly identify the single fraction of Riva.
