Dream beach: Dickenson Bay in Antigua.
After a couple of years I return to one of the Caribbean beaches that I liked the most so far. It is located in Antigua and is easy to reach by taxi.
Unfortunately, I must admit, I found it a little unkempt but I imagine that the pandemic has drastically reduced the influx of tourists and therefore the cleanliness of the beaches has also suffered.
However, nature, which is always the protagonist, is always wonderful in Dickenson Bay.

La cabina telefonica sulla spiaggia ad Antigua.
Certi oggetti, posizionati nel punto giusto, diventano velocemente attrazione per turisti ed icone da fotografare.
Io che sono appassionato e grande fruitore di entrambe le cose (nonchè amante degli scatti che tutti fanno e poco originale) ho dovuto aspettare tipo dieci minuti per riuscire a scattare tanta era la gente che si faceva selfie in questo punto.
La spiaggia è una delle piu’ famose di Antigua, Dickenson Bay (di cui vi ho gia postato diversi scatti da sogno). Venite a farvi una crociera Costa ai Caraibi!

Mare da sogno: Dickenson Bay ad Antigua.
Una delle spiagge più belle dei Caraibi è sicuramente questa ad Antigua.
A dire la verità da qualche parte avevo letto che in questa isola ci sono 365 spiagge, una diversa per ogni giorno dell’anno; chiesa se è vero.
Io ne ho visitate solo un paio ed erano entrambe splendide.
Spero, un giorno, di poter visitare le rimanenti 363!

Scala verso il mare ad Antigua

Scala verso il mare ad Antigua.
Nella splendida spiaggia di Dickenson Bay, nella famosia isola dei Caraibi, c’e’ questo punto molto scenografico.
Non fa venire proprio voglia di scendere quel paio di gradini ed immergersi in quelle acque turchesi?
Ho fatto diverse foto ma lo ammetto, la qualita’ dei colori non mi soddisfa. Non sono stato in grado di replicare la bellezza del posto.

Mare e spiaggia da sogno ad Antigua.
Una immagine emblematica del mio ultimo contratto sulla Costa Magica: un mare e una spiaggia da sogno.
Questa, in particolare, era Dickenson’s Bay nella mia particolare classifica delle spiagge piu’ belle che ho visitato ai Caraibi al secondo posto dietro a Barbados.
Come potete vedere, senza aggiustamenti di colore o hdr, l’acqua era proprio turchese e la sabbia… quasi borotalco!

Dream beaches: Dickenson Bay in Antigua.
One of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Antigua and in the entire Caribbean is this one.
Perhaps, some more experienced visitors than me (and with more time available) could dispute this initial sentence of mine but I always have very little time and I rarely have the possibility of going very far from the port where my ship is docked.
Despite this, as soon as I have my free hours, I always try to enjoy these earthly paradises and this was one of them.
White sand (even if I must admit that for the moment the whitest I have found is in Barbados) and turquoise sea, trademark of the Caribbean and dreams!
