The Last Judgement in the Bolognini Chapel in Bologna
One of the most iconic works of art in the Italian heritage is certainly the wall of the Bolognini Chapel (known as the Chapel of the Magi) inside the Cathedral of Bologna.
Unfortunately I had to shoot at an angle but you can still see and appreciate many of the famous details of both the Inferno and the Paradiso conceived by Giovanni da Modena.

Chapel of the Three Kings, formerly Bolognini: Gothic marble transenna designed by Antonio di Vincenzo (1400); on the altar a wooden polyptych with twenty-seven carved and painted figures, the work of Jacopo di Paolo. The walls were frescoed by Giovanni da Modena and Francesco Alberti with a cycle depicting Episodes from the life of Saint Petronius, on the back wall; on the right wall, Stories of the Three Kings; on the left wall, at the top, the Last Judgement with the Coronation of the Virgin in a mandorla, Paradise and at the bottom Hell, a Dante-style depiction.
