Torta Pasqualina.
A dire la verità, quando l’ho fotografata, non era più una ma mezza torta!!!
La classica torta pasqualina ligure. Pasta sfoglia, verdure e ricotta. Qualche spennellata di tuorlo d’uovo e voillà!!!!
Semplice ma veramente ottima.

Piscina dei Castelli in Sestri Levante.
A photo of the Piscina dei Castelli taken from the port of Sestri Levante.
A bathing establishment to which the glorious disco of the same name was connected, which in the summer used the beach in front of the actual swimming pool as a dance floor, as well as the concrete platforms on which the cabins rest.
Now the disco is closed, but in the hope that one day it will reopen its doors we can still enjoy this splendid panorama!

Greece? Caribbean? Sardinia? Mauritius?
You don't have to go far to see shows like this!
In fact, I took this photo on Saturday 6th July in Monterosso, Cinque Terre in the late afternoon!
Amazing, right?
Ah, dimenticavo: Buon Ferragosto a tutti!

Vernazza, the pearl of the Cinque Terre.
Probably the most beautiful of the Cinque Terre, the splendid Vernazza. This photo is a postcard!

The first documented news of Vernazza, as the first castrum of the Cinque Terre, dates back to a document of 1080, in which the castrum Vernatio is mentioned as the maritime base of the Obertenghi. A powerful dynasty of Frankish origin, the Obertenghi were lords of Vernazza in the 11th and 12th centuries and most likely…
