Descending from the path that from San Fruttuoso di Camogli arrives in Portofino there are several points where you can enjoy a splendid view of the village of Portofino.
From one of these points I took this photo of the beautiful little church that dominates the entire marina.

According to a plaque inside the church, the building was erected in Romanesque style in 1154 although further excavations have allowed the discovery of an ancient square-plan chapel dating back perhaps to the time of the Lombards in Liguria when the monks of San Colombano operated there.
