Boccadasse, the pearl of Genoa on the sea.
A small enchanted village a few steps from the center of Genoa.
From here the villages probably end to leave space for the real city.
It is not the most beautiful photo I took today (I will publish the others slowly) and it is not even the classic image of the small fishing village but I also liked this one a lot.

Where is the village located:

Boccadasse (Boca d’azë or Bocadâze in Genoese) is an ancient seaside village in the city of Genoa, which is part of the Albaro district. In the current administrative division of the municipality of Genoa it is therefore included in the Municipio VIII – Medio Levante, which in addition to Albaro also includes the Foce and San Martino districts.

Sestri Levante il 26 febbraio.
Una mattina di un paio di settimane fa in Baia del Silenzio a Sestri Levante.
Una foto scattata con il grand’angolo dalla piccola piattaforma rocciosa che rimane appena dietro il Citto.
Veramente rilassante stare seduti sui gradini per una mezzoretta a contemplare la Baia in inverno.

Acquacoltura a Lavagna

Acquacoltura a Lavagna.
Diverso tempo fa sono stato con la mia macchina fotografica (e il bel teleobiettivo) a Santa Giulia a scattare qualche foto.
Veramente volevo immortalare Sestri Levante, e l’ho fatto, ma ho fotografato un po’ tutto quello che vedevo.
Queste per esempio sono le reti (o le vasche o non so bene come si chiamano) dell’allevamento di pesci che si trova poco a largo delle coste di Lavagna (o più precisamente di Cavi di Lavagna).

A dire la verità mi rendo conto che non sia proprio uno scatto artistico o che lasci qualcosa a chi lo vede… Rimane come semplice testimonianza di quello che ci sta attorno.

Baia del Silenzio il 26 febbraio

Baia del Silenzio il 26 febbraio.
Una settimana fa in Baia a Sestri Levante. Uno dei luoghi che più mi fanno rilassare è la nostra Baia.
In mattinata, quando c’è poca gente in giro, dieci o quindici minuti seduti sul muretto a contemplare questo spettacolo della natura e dell’uomo.

Un paio di foto della cittadina ligure di Levanto (che ho scattato a fine estate scorsa).
Si vede uno scorcio della baia fotografata dall’inizio del sentiero che va fino a Punta Mesco e a Monterosso.

Il paese di Levanto è di antica fondazione, adagiato in una valle ricoperta da ulivi, viti e pini ed affacciato direttamente sul mare. Le dorsali della vallata finiscono in mare col promontorio del Mesco e la punta di Levanto.
Parte del suo territorio rientra inoltre nel Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre e dell’Area marina protetta Cinque Terre.

The Nettuno hotel in Sestri Levante seen from the sea.
As I have already written previously, the Hotel Nettuno is probably one of the hotel symbols of Sestri Levante. For many years of my childhood it was abandoned and left to decay.
But then it was renovated and now it is a little gem with suites, a restaurant and a lounge bar on the roof.
This photo was taken from the port with my beautiful telephoto lens.
