It is one of the most beautiful and photographed buildings in Sestri Levante with its beautiful brick tower.
I already have several photos but perhaps not very many taken with the telephoto lens.

Here is the website of the Palazzo Fascie.

Like many other Ligurian villages, the city dates back to the ancient people called Ligurians, more specifically called Tigulli, from which the name of the current geographical area called Tigullio. In ancient times, Sestri Levante was made up of a small island consisting of the current promontory that to the south is located overhanging the sea. This small island was, only in modern times, joined to the mainland by a thin isthmus formed by the deposits of the numerous and periodic floods of the Gromolo torrent and by the constant action of the sea.

The Roman bridge and Villa Cattaneo.
One of the best preserved Roman remains in our Sestri Levante is the Roman Bridge that from Villa Cattaneo crosses the Gromolo torrent.
I read that it is actually a bridge with multiple arches even if now you can only see one (because the others have been incorporated into the cemented banks.

La passeggiata di Nervi

La passeggiata a mare in mattoni di fronte ai Parchi di Nervi.
La passeggiata Anita Garibaldi è uno dei luoghi di ritrovo (assieme ai Parchi di Nervi) dei genovesi di Levante per trascorrere una domenica pomeriggio di fine stagione all’aria aperta.
Un paio di domeniche fa anche io, con i miei amici, abbiamo deciso di farci un salto (erano anni che non la visitavo) e quale miglior occasione per fare foto e video?
Questa, per esempio, è secondo me molto carina: una classica pozza d’acqua piovana al centro dei mattoni rossi di cui è lastricata la passeggiata.
Sullo sfondo poi la Torre Gropallo.

Il ponte romano a Riva Trigoso.
Uno dei ponti originali pervenuti a noi dal tempo dei romani è a Riva trigoso.
Recentemente ristrutturato è proprio una bella costruzione.

Giusto per chiarezza, mi fanno notare che il ponte (che si chiama Ponte Balbi già Brignole) non è romano ma post-medievale o Neoclassico. In particolare ho trovato molte informazioni sul post scritto da Laura Nicolini here. Molto interessante!

The little streets of Trigoso, the hamlet of Sestri

Le viette di Trigoso la frazione di Sestri

The alleys of Trigoso, the hamlet of Sestri.
One of the most beautiful villages I have visited recently is right near my house, in my own municipality even.
This is in fact one of the alleys (a classic creuza de ma, as De Andrè sang) that crosses the small village.
Narrow streets, colorful houses leaning one on top of the other. It has a lot of charm!

Here is where the small village is located:

The two toponyms, Riva and Trigoso, were combined for the first time in 1874, in the name of the railway station “Riva-Trigoso”, then located halfway between the two villages. The joint name gradually entered common use, to improperly identify the single fraction of Riva.

Statue a My Son Sanctuary.
Una serie di belle ed antichissime statue che adornano una delle costruzioni funerarie nel santuario vicino ad Hoi An. Purtroppo le costruzioni e le statue a My Son sono un pochino consumate dal tempo anche perché, come potete vedere anche voi, sono state realizzate in terracotta e mattoni.
Ma sono comunque bellissime da vedere ed esplorare in un parco bellissimo e molto ben tenuto.

La traccia più antica di monumenti di culto a Mỹ Sơn è la stele con iscrizione del IV secolo, in cui il re Bhadravarman annuncia la fondazione di un tempio dedicato a Shiva Bhadreshvara. Questa fondazione ha un particolare rilievo storico, in quanto il complesso religioso di Mỹ Sơn era il principale luogo di culto dei sovrani del regno Champa, nonché il luogo dove venivano cremati dopo la loro morte.

Il piccolo borgo di Trigoso nel comune di Sestri Levante.
Qualche giorno fa sono andato a fare un giro a Trigoso una piccola frazione di Sestri Levante.
Ci troviamo all’inizio della strada (l’Aurelia) che da Sestri Levante, attraverso il Passo del Bracco, va fino a La Spezia e poi giù giù verso Roma.
Erano diversi anni che non andavo e non mi ricordavo fosse così bello.
Questo è l’inizio della stradina interna, una bella creuza di pietre e mattoni proprio tipica.
A impreziosire questo scorcio una antica mole di pietra.

Chiavari è sicuramente la cittadina più famosa del Levante Ligure per i suoi archi portici.
Questo, come potete ben vedere, ne è un classico esempio.
Diverse colonne che sorreggono archi di tutti i tipi; ogni palazzo ha il suo stile così come ogni colonna ed arco.
Uno spettacolo passeggiarvi e fotografarli.
