The Bay of Silence seen from Mandrella. Surely one of the main reasons that pushes me to do the Mandrella path is to be able to photograph Sestri Levante and in particular the Bay of Silence from above. As you will see from the colors, the photo was processed in hdr. The symbol par excellence of Sestri Levante is Portobello (the famous Bay of Silence). The houses that jut out into the sea, once inhabited only by local fishermen. The boats parked in the middle. The former convent of the Annunziata which today, renovated, is used for exhibitions and events. A fairytale atmosphere and, if you are lucky enough to be here at a time of year that is not particularly crowded, you will understand why it is called the Bay of Silence. This time I brought the telephoto lens and so I will reel off a few particularly beautiful photos from an unusual perspective.
