Queen Head in Yehliu Geopark: the queen-shaped rock.
This is definitely the most famous rock in Taiwan: the Queen Head! It is located in Yehliu Natural Park.
It has become almost a symbol for the Asian island so much so that they have already held some referendums on whether to protect it from erosion (being friable it is destined to collapse) or to let mother nature act; the supporters of nature have won for now!
Definitely one of the natural attractions of Taiwan not to be missed if you are on holiday on the island.

Da oggi, 15 giugno, non più gratis i parcheggi a Sestri Levante.

Attenzione: questo post è datato 15 giugno 2013 e contiene informazioni non aggiornate. L’ultima volta che ho aggiornato il post i parcheggi erano gratuiti sino al 1 giugno.

Facendo eco al articles scritto a suo tempo vi avviso che da oggi, a Sestri Levante, tutti i parcheggi del centro sono a pagamento. In inverno ci sono diverse zone gratuite che però in estate vengono fatte pagare.

Possibilità per non stare ore in macchina? Muoversi in bicicletta o a piedi. Se poi non potete fare proprio a meno della macchina c’è l’ottimo parcheggio per i residenti, vicino all’Itis, e i parcheggi sopra la copertura del fiume che, ad eccezione del segmento più vicino alla passeggiata, sono ancora gratis.
