A shop in the shape of a windmill on the promenade of St Maarten in the Caribbean.
Famous for its beautiful beaches but also for its jewelry and watch shops, beautiful St Maarten is one of my favorite stops to go out for a swim and look at the shops.
Along the promenade there is this shop whose facade is a typical Dutch windmill.
St Marteen is in fact part of the Dutch overseas territories.

Sint Maarten is a constituent nation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which includes three other nations: the Netherlands and the Caribbean states of Aruba and Curaçao. The territory is made up of the southern part of the island of Saint Martin, located in the southern Caribbean Sea. The capital is Philipsburg. The bust of Giovanni Descalzo on a walk in Sestri

The bust in memory of Giovanni Descalzo on the promenade in Sestri Levante.
On the seaside promenade in Sestri, at the height of the Celeste, there is a bust in memory of one of the plump characters of my town: the poet Giovanni Descalzo.
From that point it dominates the whole Baia delle Favole at the point where the road is called Lungomare Descalzo.

The panoramic walk of the village of Framura in Liguria.
If you are in the eastern Liguria and want to take a dip in clean and not too crowded waters (be careful though because in August there is a carnage here too) I recommend you take the train and buy a ticket to Framura.
Once you arrive at the station, go down the underpass that comes out directly onto the seafront. Three hundred meters of splendid Liguria with, at the end, a beautiful little beach!

Situated on the Ligurian coast, the small town of Framura is located within one of the many inlets and coves, typical of the rugged coast of the eastern Ligurian Riviera. Mount Serro (421 m. above sea level) is the highest peak in the Framura area and belongs to the protected area of ​​the Cinque Terre.

The stretch of the cycle path in the Mandela Park in Sestri Levante.
One of the most beautiful stretches of cycle path in my Sestri Levante is the one that crosses the Mandela Park.
On the left the athletics track while on the right, in addition to the many benches sheltered by the Mediterranean pines, the basketball court and the municipal swimming pool.

Giovanni Descalzo Promenade in Sestri Levante.
The beautiful seaside promenade of my town in the western part (the eastern one is called Viale Rimembranza).
Dedicated to the poet from Sestri Descalzo, it allows you to walk while enjoying the beach and the sea at any time of the year and, with the following stretch up to the Sant'Anna galleries, it is almost a kilometer of walking.

La parte della passeggiata di Sestri Levante verso Sant’Anna.
Quando sono a casa percorro spesso, specialmente quando mi armo di scarpe da ginnastica e tutta, questo tratto della passeggiata di Sestri Levante.
La parte piu’ a Ponente della mia cittadina che, rinnovata e restaurata qualche anno fa, oggi e’ uno dei luoghi piu’ frequentati nei pomeriggi delle mezze stagioni.
Se non sbaglio questo era un tardo pomeriggio di ottobre.

Dream sea: the coves along the Framura promenade.
Last summer, after a long time of promising myself, I finally went to the seaside in Framura, the tiny village towards the Cinque Terre.
You arrive at the train station and then, through the underpass of the same, you reach the small seaside promenade that connects the various coves and the enchanting beaches.
Arm yourself with masks and fins because it is really worth it and, if you don't want to spend a few euros for a sun lounger and umbrella (and yes, incredibly there are also those available) bring plenty of sun cream!

La “nuova” passeggiata a mare di Riva che tutte le volte che faccio il sentiero di Punta Manara fotografo.
L’edificio della Biblioteca pubblica e le aiuole con i giochi per i bambini.
Mi piace questo angolo del borgo marinaro a Levante del mio comune.
