The rack railway of Salvador de Bahia.
I have been to Salvador several times, always by ship. In recent years, however, I have not gone out much and have limited myself to taking a few photos from the ship.
Like this one that portrays the rack railway that goes from the port to the elevated neighborhood of Pelourinho.

In the immediate vicinity is the Terreiro de Jesus square, where the cathedral, the University, the church of San Pedro, the church of the Third Dominican Order and, in an adjacent square, the church and convent of San Francisco, one of the most significant baroque churches in the whole of Brazil, overlook.
