Il frutto del corbezzolo. Un bellissimo frutto della macchia mediterranea che qualche settimana fa era al massimo della maturazione. Sulla strada che va su dalle Mimose a Sestri Levante c’erano decine di piante ricoperte di bei frutti arancioni e rossi. Non potevo evitare di fare una foto!
Il frutto è una bacca sferica di circa 2 centimetri, carnosa e rossa a maturità, ricoperta di tubercoli abbastanza rigidi spessi qualche millimetro; i frutti maturi hanno un buon sapore, che non tutti, però, apprezzano. È possibile utilizzare i frutti per marmellate casalinghe (confetture) e altre preparazioni.
La tomba di Tu Duc a Hue. Essendo stata la capitale imperiale del Vietnam per diverso tempo molte sono le tombe presenti in città. Molto grande e bella con la presenza di molti edifici e di molti laghetti. In particolare in queste foto uno dei palazzi più belli con di fronte uno dei laghetti più verdi che io abbia mail visto. Tante alghe ma anche tante ninfee… Molto bello e rinfrescante.
Purtroppo c’è poco su Wikipedia in italiano e poco, a dire la verità, anche in inglese. Vi lascio e spero vi bastino le tante e belle foto che ho scattato.

The green burrs of the chestnut tree. The mushroom season is starting, but also the chestnut season. A few days ago, taking a stroll towards San Bernardo, I photographed these beautiful burrs, still green, from which beautiful and tasty chestnuts will emerge.

At first it is green in colour; after maturation (when it opens into 2-4 valves) it becomes yellow-brownish. Internally it is cream in colour, covered with fine hairs.
