The first Romanesque part (1198) was followed by the Gothic part with black and white banded facing which dates back to the 13th century and was built by the Genoese, probably between 1256 and 1270.

Terrazze sopra a Corniglia nelle Cinque Terre.
C’è chi la chiama agricoltura eroica e da questo scatto si può capire perché.
Addirittura, se pensiamo a qualche decennio fa, quando non c’erano nemmeno le piccole cremagliere che oggi, almeno in parte, agevolano il trasporto di persone e cose in alcuni punti.
Muretti a secco e terrazze, create dall’uomo per coltivare la vigna a picco sul mare.
Sullo sfondo il borgo di Corniglia, la cittadina al centro delle Cinque Terre.
