L’archivolto del ponte Grecino a Varese Ligure.
Il ponte Grecino, sopra il torrente Crovara, era uno dei punti per entrare nel borgo al tempo del Medioevo.
Per questo immagino ci fosse questo archivolto, magari con un portone, per gestire l’ingresso alla cittadina.

Borgo Rotondo in the historic center of Varese. Commissioned by the Fieschi family for the control and defense of the Varese territory, it is made up of identical stone houses arranged along the perimeter which, with an elliptical shape, enclose the two main squares (Piazza Fieschi and Piazza Castello), where the commercial activities, warehouses and laboratories were located in the underlying porticoes.

Una creuza sul mare nel borgo di Bogliasco

Una creuza sul mare nel bel borgo marinaro di Bogliasco in Liguria.
Diverso tempo fa ho scattato questa foto passeggiando lungo questa bella creuza, la tipica strada dei borghi marinari liguri, che si trova a Levante del porticciolo del bel borgo di Bogliasco (in provincia di Genova).
Il piccolo ponte, collega una splendida vialla affacciata sul mare con la strada carrabile.

It is the first municipality you come across when travelling from Genoa towards the Riviera di Levante, in a small inlet at the mouth of the river of the same name. Among the reliefs of the territory there is Mount Cordona (803 m) along the ancient path to the hamlet of Sessarego and Mount Rotondo (789 m). The beaches alternate with deep and characteristic cliffs. It is possible to practice surfing there. The hinterland is typical of eastern Liguria, partly with strips of olive groves, with the possibility of excursions.

La spiaggia di Sori un borgo marinaro in Liguria

La spiaggia di Sori, il borgo in provincia di Genova.
Ultimamente, diverse volte a settimana, mi reco a Genova e visto che siamo in estate amo fare tutta la via Aurelia in motorino per godermi la mia Liguria.
Quando posso mi fermo a scattare qualche foto dei vari borghi che si attraversano.
Questa è la bella Sori vista dal grande ponte che la sovrasta.
La spiaggia e la piscina si vedono molto bene.

Il borgo di Sori si affaccia sul mare del Golfo Paradiso, a est di Genova, nella Riviera di Levante, e il territorio comunale si protende nell’entroterra lungo la valle dell’omonimo torrente fino a raggiungere lo spartiacque con l’alta val Fontanabuona raggiungendo la frazione di Pannesi nel comune di Lumarzo.

Il famosissimo ponte di Rialto nella bella Venezia.
In una bella gita a Venezia non può certo mancare un passo sul ponte piu’ famoso di Venezia: il Ponte di Rialto.
Ed ovviamente non può mancare nemmeno una bella (almeno credo io) foto dello stesso.

E’ uno dei quattro ponti, insieme al ponte dell’Accademia, al ponte degli Scalzi e al ponte della Costituzione, che attraversano il Canal Grande, nella città di Venezia. Dei quattro, il ponte di Rialto è il più antico e sicuramente il più famoso. A detta delle cronache, il primo passaggio sul Canal Grande era costituito da un ponte di barche. Un ponte vero e proprio, poggiante su pali in legno, fu costruito da Nicolò Barattiero sotto il dogado di Sebastiano Ziani o di Orio Mastropiero…

Il celebre Ponte dei Sospiri a Venezia.
Una delle attrazioni (ma quante sono) della bella città di Venezia è il famigerato Ponte dei Sospiri.
Lo si vede camminando sul molo di piazza San Marco essendo sul retro del Palazzo Ducale.
Ovviamente tutte le gondole vi passano sotto nonostante i sospiri degli amanti siano molto diversi da quelli esalati da che vi transitava in passato.

Il ponte Boera sulla Gottera a Sesta Godano.
Qualche mese fa sono stato a mangiare in una trattoria dell’entroterra spezzino che è a Sesta Godano.
Non avendo mai visto bene questo borgo mi sono fatto due passi per le vie della cittadina e, sicuramente, il punto che più ha attratto la mia attenzione (oltre ai bei vicoli e alle belle case in pietra) è questo bel ponte del 1500 con annesso mulino (qui la scheda dei Beni Culturali).
Peccato solamente che non sia riuscito a fotografare il tutto dall’altro lato ma la vegetazione impediva la vista.

The view of the Grecino Bridge in Varese Ligure.
One of the symbols of the Borgo Rotondo (this is the name given to the beautiful Varese Ligure, famous for its circular-shaped historic center) is certainly the old bridge that connects the actual village to the Grecino neighborhood, separated by the Crovana stream that shortly after flows into the Vara.

Il ponte romano nel porticciolo di Bogliasco, in Liguria.
Uno dei punti più fotografati del piccolo borgo marinaro di Bogliasco e’ sicuramente il porticciolo ed il ponte romano.
Che poi il ponte, come molti della mia regione, viene chiamato romano ma e’ di costruzione medievale (magari costruito su uno precedente romano, come quello di Riva Trigoso).

The houses on Ponte Vecchio in Florence
Ponte Vecchio is probably the most famous historic bridge in the world and it is also famous because there are houses built on top of it (and because the Vasari Corridor also passes above the houses).
This is one of the many views of the bridge portrayed from Lungarno.

The Ponte Vecchio is a bridge that crosses the Arno River in Florence, approximately 150 metres downstream from the area where the river naturally has one of the narrowest points within the city, in its stretch upstream from the Cascine.
