In questi giorni la Baia del Silenzio è spettacolare. Sia che ci sia il sole, sia con il cielo nuvoloso, si può camminare lungo il bagnasciuga e non incontrare nessuno.

Per cominciare bene il nuovo anno, a proposito: Buon Anno Nuovo a tutti!, ho deciso di postare questa splendida foto della Baia del Silenzio scattata la scorso maggio.
Questo è probabilmente il luogo che più amo fotografare ed ora che non sono a casa sogno di essere lì.

My favorite spot to take photos of the Bay (and not only mine of course) is the terrace that encloses the churchyard of the Capuchin Convent

The splendid bay that is the symbol of my town is certainly one of my favourite subjects.
When last May I wanted to do some tests with my old ef lens, I went all the way to the churchyard of the Capuchin friary, one of the best places to photograph the Bay.
Even the swimming pool of the Hotel Helvetia has its charm!

In primavera ed in autunno la Baia del Silenzio (anche chiamata Portobello) regala un’acqua dai colori meravigliosi, quasi magici.
Ci sono proprio tutte le gradazioni del blu!
Nulla a che vedere con lo stesso luogo fotografato in estate!
