In the heart of Turin, a few steps from the famous Palazzo Madama, is this palace where King Carlo Alberto lived, among others.
Begun in the seventeenth century, it was the subject of numerous restorations and alterations until the nineteenth century, when it took on the appearance with which we know it today.

The Royal Palace of Turin is the first and most important of the Savoy residences in Piedmont, the scene of the politics of the Savoy States for at least three centuries. It is located in the heart of the city, in the Piazzetta Reale adjacent to the central Piazza Castello, from which the main arteries of the historic center branch off: via Po, via Roma, via Garibaldi and via Pietro Micca.
