Quando si arriva in questa piazza di Firenze, arrivando dalla stazione ferroviaria, ci si devono stropicciare gli occhi tanto è grande la bellezza artistica che ci si apre davanti.
In primo piano il Battistero di San Giovanni (da cui il nome alla piazza) e dietro il Duomo della città, Santa Maria del Fiore ed il campanile di Giotto che fa capolino da dietro il soffitto del battistero.

Signoria Square in Florence

Signoria square in Florence.
Going to Florence without passing through this square is impossible.
One because it is still the center of the city and two because all the most famous attractions of the city of the lily are close to here (the Uffizi museum, the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo).
Obviously, as you all already know, there is the beautiful Palazzo Vecchio and on the right the Loggia della Signoria.

Il ripascimento della spiaggia di Renà della scorsa primavera.
Qualche mese fa ormai, era il marzo scorso, sono stato a fare la splendida passeggiata che collega Riva Trigoso e Moneglia.
Poco dopo la partenza da Riva la vista sulla spiaggia di Renà è veramente unica.
In quei giorni si stava procedendo con il ripascimento della spiaggia con l’immissione di nuova sabbia e mi piacevano moltissimo le linee tracciate dai macchinari in contrasto con l’acqua molto cristallina del mare.

The Cathedral Square in the beautiful Ferrara, the city of the Este family.
Last weekend I went to Ferrara to follow my beloved Sampdoria and what better occasion to take a tour and take photos of the beautiful town.
This is one of the main squares of the city: the square where the Cathedral is located and in this photo you can see its bell tower.

Still on the south side, there is the Renaissance bell tower made of brick and covered in limestone (white and red from Verona); the columns on the north and south sides are in grey limestone from Noriglio, the plinth of the columns is in Istrian stone, the capitals of the columns are in prun stone and some coats of arms on the south and west sides are in soft stone from Vicenza.
