Paella: rice, saffron, seafood and vegetables.
Paella is a fantastic dish to photograph.
It is no coincidence that I have already found several posts and photos about it.
This is the last photo I took this summer.
I will not post any more until my next stop in Spain.

Paella: riso, zafferano, frutti di mare e verdura

It is a traditional dish of Spanish cuisine, which has spread throughout the Mediterranean Sea and Latin America. The dish, based on rice, saffron and seafood or meat, is similar to Turkish pilaf or Indo-Pakistani biryani and is prepared in the typical pan from which it takes its name, the pa ella or paellera.

Essere in Spagna e non mangiarsi un bel piatto di paella di pesce è quasi un’offesa.
Di passaggio ad Ibiza pertanto ho colto l’occasione per pranzare in uno dei tanti ristorantini per turisti del centro.
Una buona e bella paella di pesce e frutti di mare.

Pollo in umido con riso.
E’ stata una delle prime foto di cibo che ho pubblicato su questo sito, ormai quasi dieci anni fa.
Questa sera mia mamma mi ha preparato un bel piattino con pollo in umido con riso (cotto in pentola con olio, cipolla, pinoli, olive e un pochino di concentrato di pomodoro).
