The renowned Rossignotti pastry shop in Riva Trigoso. The oldest pastry shop in Sestri Levante is the one founded by the Rossignotti family. It has certainly existed in Sestri Levante since 1840. In the photos, the Riva Trigoso branch. The most famous product? I think the nougat that was even supplied to the Holy See!

The cycle path in Riva Trigoso. The new (even if it's been a couple of years now) seafront of the hamlet of Sestri Levante has become a jewel in the crown for my municipality. The houses along the new promenade are all in the typical Ligurian style and color and even the red of the cycle path doesn't clash!
Have you ever thought about buying an electric bike to ride these short but nice bike paths? There are kilometers of bike paths in our municipality. Check out the prices of the best bikes on Amazon.

Molto interessante!

The alleys of Trigoso, the hamlet of Sestri. One of the most beautiful villages I have visited recently is right near my house, in my own municipality even. This is in fact one of the alleys (a classic creuza de ma, as De Andrè sang) that crosses the small village. Narrow streets, colorful houses leaning one on top of the other. It has a lot of charm!

Here is where the small village is located:
The two toponyms, Riva and Trigoso, were combined for the first time in 1874, in the name of the railway station “Riva-Trigoso”, then located halfway between the two villages. The joint name gradually entered common use, to improperly identify the single fraction of Riva. Continue and learn more on Wikipedia

Some houses in the eastern part of Riva Trigoso. A very particular house in the Sestrese district and its facade. I had left behind some photos of the houses in the eastern part of Riva Trigoso. The first is also the most particular: in addition to the colors that remind you of a Greek house, on the facade you can see (very clearly) these two lightning bolts, also blue. I say that they are lightning bolts but I'm not entirely sure.
Surely some reader will be able to write me more. Add a comment or go to the bottom of the site to read what other visitors have written.
I'll add a couple more photos of other houses that I still had in store.
The Levante area, on the other hand, is made up of houses dating back mostly to the twentieth century, and is home to the local Fincantieri shipyard and the main commercial businesses and beach resorts. This area is a little more intimate than the Ponente village, but it is very crowded, especially during the summer season. Continue and learn more on Wikipedia

Via Antonio Gramsci in Riva Trigoso. Perhaps the name of this street will mean little to many of you. However, I imagine that almost all of you, at least once, have walked along it to go to the beach of Renà or to Moneglia or many more times to go to work. It is precisely the road that runs along the wall of the Fincantieri shipyard in Riva Trigoso. Since I was a child, that futuristic transparent passage has always attracted me and I have always wondered if anyone ever walks along it. Maybe someone here can answer me.

Antonio Sebastiano Francesco Gramsci (Ales, January 22, 1891 – Rome, April 27, 1937) was an Italian politician, philosopher, political scientist, journalist, linguist and literary critic. Considered one of the most important thinkers of the twentieth century, in his writings, among the most original of the Marxist philosophical tradition, Gramsci analyzed the cultural and political structure of society. In particular, he developed the concept of hegemony, according to which the dominant classes impose their political, intellectual and moral values on society, with the aim of welding and managing power around a common sense shared by all social classes, especially the subordinate ones. Via Della Libertà a Riva Trigoso.
