I ruderi di Santa Maria in Passione a Genova.
Girovagando nei vicoli del centro storico di Genova, qualche tempo fa, mi sono imbattuto in questi ruderi di una chiesa che non avevo mai visto e di cui non sapevo nulla.
Leggendo qualcosa in rete ho scoperto che era una chiesa, Santa Maria in Passione, distrutta durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e che ora, solo parzialmente ristrutturata, è sede di un centro culturale.

Ecco dove si trovano i ruderi:

La chiesa di Santa Maria in Passione è stato un edificio religioso del centro storico di Genova, situata nell’omonima piazza sulla collina di Castello, nel quartiere del Molo. Chiuso nell’Ottocento per le leggi di soppressione degli ordini religiosi emanate dal governo sabaudo, il complesso comprendente la chiesa fu dapprima trasformato in caserma e infine divenne sede dell’O.N.M.I., prima di venire quasi completamente distrutto durante la seconda guerra mondiale.

Passeggiando dal monastero di Valle Christi a Rapallo.
Due passi nel piccolo parco in cui si trova il monastero (o comunque i suoi ruderi) di Valle Christi.
Qualche mese fa sono stato, dopo molto tempo che me lo proponevo, a visitarlo e ne sono rimasto molto colpito.
Trasuda sacralità ma anche storia e mistero.
Vi invito ad andarlo a vedere è molto comodo in macchina.

The monastery of Santa Maria in Valle Christi was a Catholic place of worship located in the hamlet of San Massimo, in via San Massimo, in the municipality of Rapallo in the metropolitan city of Genoa. The former monastic complex from the thirteenth century is included in the list of Italian national monuments; it is one of the few surviving examples of Gothic architecture in the entire Ligurian territory.

The Valle Christi Monastery in Rapallo
A magical place here on the Riviera that until now I had only seen in photos. And finally, a couple of weeks ago I went to see it too.
It is located in Rapallo behind the golf course and is very easy to reach by car (it is no more than five hundred meters from the motorway exit and there is a convenient free car park, I believe) and, if you pass by when it is open (there are times that I can't tell you, though), you can visit it freely.

Ruderi di un portale lungo il Gromolo

Ruderi di un portale lungo il Gromolo.
Per tutti coloro che sono soliti andare a passeggiare o correre lungo il torrente Gromolo questo rudere sarà familiare.
Tutte le volte che passo, a dire la verità passerò una volta l’anno, mi incuriosisce e mi piacerebbe saperne di più.
Ho fatto uno zoom del tondo marmoreo con un Santo che ancora resiste sopra la trave.

L’incrocio di Pietra Calante a Sestri Levante.
Questa casetta diroccata è da moltissimi anni al centro di grandi discussioni nella mia cittadina.
Qui ci troviamo di fronte alla spiaggia di Sant’Anna, poco prima delle gallerie che portano l’Aurelia verso Lavagna e Chiavari.
Questo è l’incrocio che porta a via Antica Romana Occidentale.
Al centro dell’incrocio c’è questo rudere che anni fa si voleva abbattere per permettere di ricostruire l’incrocio in maniera più sicura. Ci vorrebbe forse una bella rotonda ampia.
Invece no: le voci dicevano che non si poteva abbattere perché edificio di carattere storico e quindi sottoposto a tutela dei beni culturali.
Si vede poco perché coperto da piante ma ci deve essere una serie di piccole colonne molto antiche che si vogliono tutelare.
