Mare da sogno: onda caraibica a Tortola. Una foto che racchiude il mare dei Caraibi: sabbia bianca o dorata e acque limpide o turchesi. Qui, in particolare, ero a Tortola (Virgin British Island) nella spiaggia di Long Bay beach. Ho rischiato quasi la mia macchinetta fotografica per scattare questa foto perche’ l’onda si e’ franta talmente velocemente che gli spruzzi hanno quasi sommerso la mia piccola Canon.

Long Bay beach in Tortola. One of the most beautiful beaches I have seen up to this point in my Caribbean season with the Costa Magica is definitely this one in Tortola. Few people, very white sand and clear water. A chiringuito that prepared excellent pinacoladas in the background and lots of sun. About 15 kilometers from the port (not very close for our crew member parameters) absolutely to see and see again!

Tortola is the largest and most populous island in the British Virgin Islands overseas territory of the United Kingdom. It is home to the territory’s capital, Road Town. Dream beaches: Mount Irvine in Trinidad and Tobago. The list of Caribbean beaches that I manage to visit during my breaks on board continues. This time I'll show you this small beach on this beautiful Caribbean island. Here too, golden sand (but not very fine) and turquoise water. A few meters from the shore, a little coral reef for a bit of relaxing snorkelling (but don't expect a lot of flora and fauna). A small beach bar at the end of the beach, guaranteed relaxation!

The islands of Trinidad and Tobago were discovered by Christopher Columbus on his third voyage. Columbus gave the larger island the Spanish name “Trinidad” in homage to the Holy Trinity, while the name Tobago probably comes from the cigar shape of the smaller island (hence its name in Spanish “tobaco”). Spanish possessions until 1797, the two islands were occupied by the English at the time of the French conquest of Spain and until 1962 were a colony of the British Empire. Spiagge da sogno: Cu Lao Cham in Vietnam. Anche in Vietnam si trovano spiagge incredibilmente belle e pulite. Nelle isole Cham, una ventina di chilometri al largo della famosa cittadina di Hoi An, si trovano delle spiagge incredibilmente belle. In molti luoghi del Vietnam le spiagge ci sono ma l’acqua non è mai pulita e trasparente; io credo che dipenda dal clima che rende i fiumi molto verdi e torbidi andando poi a finire nel mare. Qui, essendo molto lontani dalle coste continentali l’acqua era cristallina come da titolo: spiagge da sogno!

Spiagge da sogno: Cala Salada ad Ibiza. Forse una delle spiagge piu’ belle di Ibiza. Difficile da raggiungere ed incastonata tra colline coperte da pinete. Un gioiellino. La spiaggia e’ divisa in due, anzi in tre: si arriva a Cala Salada, spiaggetta di sassi rotondi. Da qui si puo’ proseguire verso Cala Saladeta che forse e’ ancora piu’ bella. Ad agosto e’ difficile trovare un metro quadrato per stendere l’asciugamano e, ancora piu’ difficile se ci si va in macchina, trovare parcheggio a meno di un paio di kilometri a piedi. Probabilmente ne vale la pena comunque.
Da qualche anno il consiglio dell’isola sta tentando di promuovere Ibiza anche per un turismo più tranquillo e familiare, con disposizioni per i club di chiudere alle 6 del mattino e che tutti i nuovi hotel siano dei 5 stelle Ibiza infatti gode anche di numerose spiagge poco conosciute come quelle che si estendono nel lato settentrionale dell’isola adatte a un turista più tranquillo in cerca di relax. Inoltre, sempre sul lato a nord dell’isola si possono ammirare piccoli centri caratterizzati dal classico stile catalano. Continue and learn more on Wikipedia.
Impronte di piccioni sulla sabbia. Diverso tempo fa ormai, si parla di marzo, ero in Baia del Silenzio e la spiaggia era tutta segnata dal passeggiare dei piccioni. Complice la completa mancanza di vento o di brezza le impronte sono rimaste.

Baia del Silenzio on June 20, 2018. I took this photo exactly one year ago. It is the beautiful bay of Sestri Levante called the bay of silence for the quiet of the place. Quiet that in this period gives way to the chaos of the summer season (summer starts tomorrow) and the bay changes appearance. Now it is already difficult to find a square meter of sand to lay the towel… The silence will return at the end of September…

Spiagge da sogno: Patong beach. Di tutte le spiagge che ho visitato e di cui vi ho parlato forse questa non e’ proprio la piu’ da sogno ma rimane comunque una bellissima spiaggia. Se la marea e il vento sono favorevoli l’acqua e’ pulita (anche se non l’ho proprio mai vista trasparente). Ma e’ strapiena di turisti tutti i giorni e questo la rende un po’ meno da sogno. Ricordatevi poi di stare attenti alle sigarette: in tante spiagge della Thailandia, inclusa questa, non si puo’ fumare ovunque ma solo nelle aree destinate allo scopo.
Phuket (in lingua thai: ภูเก็ต, trascrizione IPA: [pʰūːkèt]) è la più grande isola della Thailandia e si trova sul mare delle Andamane, nei pressi della costa ovest della penisola malese. A nord è collegata alla terraferma dal lungo ponte stradale Sarasin. Le sue importanti risorse naturali comprendono falesie calcaree ricche di stagno, famose spiagge, tranquille baie e foreste tropicali che fanno di Phuket la più ricca, più turistica e più popolare tra le isole della Thailandia del Sud. Sestri Levante il 12 marzo 2019. Una vista classica della spiaggia piu’ famosa di Sestri Levante: la Baia del Silenzio. Foto scattata poco piu’ di una mese fa quando ero ancora a casa e potevo godere della pace sestrese di fine inverno.
Sassi in Baia delle Favole. Le mareggiate di quest’inverno hanno riempito la solitamente sabbiosa Baia delle Favole in una pietraia. Più avanti nella stagione si provvederà a sistemare la spiaggia per la stagione estiva ma al momento il panorama è questo. Non abbiate paura perché, se io mi ricordo bene, tutti gli inverni la situazione è la stessa.
