Every time I travel along the Via Aurelia I stop for a moment at the Santuario delle Grazie to enjoy the splendid view of the city of Chiavari and the Gulf of Tigullio di Levante.

The sanctuary of Nostra Signora delle Grazie is a Catholic place of worship located in the town of Grazie in the municipality of Chiavari, in the metropolitan city of Genoa. The building is located along the state road 1 Via Aurelia, in a stretch where the coast rises steeply above the sea, with a wooded slope. The sanctuary dominates the sea, and is still clearly visible to sailors today as in the past.
