The famous rock called Ciappa du Lu

Il famoso scoglio chiamato la Ciappa du Lu a Sestri Levante.
Finally last autumn I managed to reach what is probably the most famous rock in Sestri Levante.
It is located almost below Punta Manara and can be reached by boat or by deviating from the Mandrella path.
A steep and rugged but not difficult descent of about half an hour and you arrive at this magical place. Do you have the right shoes? I recommend not trying the descent in flip-flops. L’albero su scoglio tra Santa e Portofino

L’albero su scoglio tra Santa e Portofino.
Se si vuol fare una bella camminata tranquilla ed immersi nel mare consiglio a tutti la passeggiata tra Santa Margherita Ligure e Portofino.
Passeggiando, quasi a metà percorso, si incontra questo scoglio con un albero sopra che è stato eletto come simbolo e ricordo della furiosa mareggiata che ha sferzato (e seriamente danneggiato) questo tratto di costa ligure durante il 29 ed il 30 ottobre 2018.

Lo scoglio dell’Asseu a Riva Trigoso.
Qualche settimana fa c’è stata una splendida giornata di sole qui a Sestri e ne ho approfittato per scattare qualche foto con il mio drone nella spiaggia di Renà.
Tra le tante foto e video ne ho fatte alcune allo splendido scoglio chiamato Asseu che è proprio sotto la prima galleria che da Sestri porta a Moneglia.
Fino a qualche mese fa lo scoglio era collegato alla spiaggia da un pontile di cemento che, qualche mese fa è stato demolito.
Godetevi ora l’acqua trasparente attorno allo scoglio.

The Rock called Ferale and the White Cross

The Scoglio Ferale and the white cross.
Along the path that goes from Riomaggiore to Portovenere, more or less below the town of Campiglia, there is this large rock with a cross dedicated to the people who go to sea.
One of the many ridges with a few scattered houses that abound in this part of Liguria between the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets.

Il crinale di Monasteroli

Il crinale di Monasteroli.
Di solito quando si vede una foto di Monasteroli si vede la scalinata a picco sul mare che dall’alto del sentiero porta fino al mare.
Dal momento che mi sentivo a disagio a fotografare in quel punto (non soffro di vertigini ma un pochino mi infastidiva l’altezza) vi posto una foto delle case che poi formano il piccolo borgo.
Se notate poi la scalinata prosegue fino al mare e allo scoglio chiamato Scoglio Montonaio.

Mare dal Bunker a Riva Trigoso.
Qualche giorno fa mi sono fatto un giretto a Riva per scattare qualche foto ed ora piano piano ve le snocciolo.
Qui siamo appena dietro al Bunker Bar (ho appena scoperto che c’è anche un piccolo sito su bunkerbar.it) ma non sulla spiaggia ma appena dopo. C’è un piccolo pennello di scogli e poi c’è una piccola spiaggetta di pietre.
Quella mattina il tempo era bello ma il cielo non prometteva bene.

The Monterosso Rock in the Cinque Terre

The Monterosso Rock in the Cinque Terre
Late afternoon in the Cinque Terre and I take a photo of the maritime symbol of Monterosso: the rock that is to the west of the beach in front of the station.
As you can see there are also some girls, surely some of the many tourists who frequent these small Ligurian villages, who are taking pictures.
At this time of day it is a really beautiful place. I could stay for hours watching the gentle waves of the sea slowly move.
As you can see I also colored a little in HDR.
