Walking and taking pictures around my Sestri I try to alternate classic photos, of the Baia del Silenzio and the alley, with more unusual ones.
In this case the street lamps installed on the wall of Villa Balbi that illuminate via Asilo Maria Teresa.

Normally when you walk along Corso Colombo, the main street of Sestri Levante, you photograph the more photogenic Palazzo Fascie-Rossi and you notice less the beautiful colored houses that are obviously also present here.

A beautiful villa in via della Chiusa in Sestri Levante.
Every time I walk along via della Chiusa, in the center of my Sestri Levante, in addition to the beautiful Casa delle Viti (of which I have already left you many photos and posts) my attention always falls on this beautiful villa that dominates the final part of the small mountain that descends to the sea. Who knows if you can see the sea from its windows…

One beautiful February morning, exactly February 29, 2024, armed with my ever-present camera I immortalized the beautiful bay that is the symbol of my town, Sestri Levante, but also of my region.
With the sun at my back kissing the houses, the photos came out really well!

The Victory Statue of Sestri Levante

The statue of Victory in Sestri Levante.
On top of the school building in Piazza della Repubblica there is this beautiful statue representing Victory.
I liked this view with the statue peeking out between the houses.
I took the photo from under the arcades of Via Fascie, where the bank is, so to speak.

A glimpse of via Giuseppe Garibaldi in Sestri Levante.
A small street, just behind the sea front, but truly characteristic and called (once) the “caruggiu de l’ou” because there were deposits of some metals, mainly sulphides in the form of pyrite and chalcopyrite, extracted in the nearby hinterland.

The splendid Casa delle Viti in Sestri Levante.
Every time I walk along Via della Chiusa my gaze, and when I have it with me, the lens always falls on this house.
In addition to the vine plant that decorates it, from the foundations to the roof, I also really like the colors and the shape

There are three in Sestri: one is this one, the second is in Vico del Bottone and the third is in Vico Marina di Ponente.

The final part of Via Nazionale in Sestri Levante

The final part of via Nazionale towards the centre of Sestri Levante.
One of the busiest streets in my Sestri is definitely via Nazionale. In addition to crossing practically the entire town of Sestri longitudinally, it is the street that hosts the greatest number of businesses and shops.
This is its final part, one-way, just before the roundabout of Piazza Sant’Antonio.
