Dream sea: Carlisle Bay on the island of Barbados.
One of the most beautiful beaches I have visited in the Caribbean is definitely the beautiful Carlisle Bay on the island of Barbados.
I always have to combine beauty with proximity to the ship (because I don't always have time to go that far away) so this is one of my favorites.

My town is very spoiled in summer but in winter, for its true lovers, it is even more beautiful.
It is almost always deserted and the colors are always spectacular, both in sunny and bad weather.

Last winter I was at home and I took the opportunity to, as they say, put hay in the barn for the months when I will be on the ship.
This was the bay of Portobello, known by all as the Bay of Silence, the renowned beach of my Sestri Levante.

Probably in winter, if you are lucky enough to be in this place on a nice day, there is no more beautiful place to take a short walk accompanied only by the relaxing sound of the waves that gently caress the beach of the Bay of Silence.
