Un fiore molto particolare che fiorisce tra aprile e maggio.
Un fiore bianco che si contrappone alle lunghe spine del fusto.
Erano molti gli insetti alla ricerca del suo nettare.

La Massoneria ha scelto come simbolo floreale l’acacia, pianta con grande valore simbolico collegata alla leggenda del Maestro Hiram, in quanto ritenuta vigorosa e gentile simbolo di immortalità e purezza, che non appassisce mai durante il corso delle stagioni eppure si rinnova sempre.

Fichi d’India.
Dalle nostre parti (in Liguria) ci sono moltissimi fichi d’India che trovano terreno fertile nelle scoscese pendenze che vanno al mare.
Questa pianta, ad esempio, l’ho fotografata lungo il sentiero che da Levanto va a Monterosso.
Bella ricca di frutti rossi e arancioni!

Il durian è sicuramente uno dei frutti esotici più facili da vedere e ricordare se non altro per le dimensioni. Una scorza dura, legnosa e piena di punte acuminate protegge la polpa cremosa.

One of the plants, not exactly typical, but very widespread in Liguria is the prickly pear.
At the moment it is blooming and it is also a beautiful little flower.
