The votive shrine of the Madonnetta above Sestri Levante.
This should be the Madonnetta, the most famous of the many chapels that can be found along a path in Sestri Levante. I use the conditional because I'm not so sure about it.
I'm not an expert on this path and these chapels, there are several along the path that goes from Nelson Mandela Park up to Mount Castellaro and Punta Manara.
Some time ago I read a post on Facebook by the expert Martino Tassano but I don't know how to find it now. It read, if I'm not mistaken, that the mountain was almost entirely owned by monks and the faithful often created these chapels there as a sign of thanks.
They are all slightly "sloppy" but not abandoned!
