Dream beaches: Torsei beach in Framura in Liguria
As soon as you arrive at the station of Framura, a very small village near the Cinque Terre, going through the underpass towards the sea, you can enter the small beach of Torsei.
The sea here is already splendid and, if you are lucky enough to arrive on a day that is not too crowded, you can enjoy the beauty of nature without even having to walk!
If you want to discover and see more, you can take the splendid walk overlooking the sea that continues to the west, for a couple of hundred meters, towards other small beaches and coves.

Situated on the Ligurian coast, the small town of Framura is located within one of the many inlets and coves, typical of the rugged coast of the eastern Ligurian Riviera. Mount Serro (421 m. above sea level) is the highest peak in the Framura area and belongs to the protected area of ​​the Cinque Terre.

Tutti i murales nel sottopassaggio della stazione.
E’ da diverso tempo che mi riproponevo di scattare le foto a tutti i murales del sottopassaggio della stazione di Sestri Levante e qualche settimana fa ci sono riuscito.
Anche perché ho paura che piano piano, tra trascuratezza e vandali vari, scompariranno o verranno coperti.
Sono tutti a tema fiabe di Andersen ma a dire il vero non so indicare tutte le storie che rappresentano.
Come mi avevano suggerito al tempo del mio ultimo post a riguardo gli autori dovevano essere stati: Egle Bartolini e Roberto Ferreccio ai quali ovviamente faccio i miei complimenti.

The famous Sa Pa station in Vietnam.
One of the most convenient ways to get to the famous region in the North of Vietnam is the night train. Unfortunately, the train does not arrive in the town but you have to stop about fifty kilometers away.
In the village of Sa Pa there is still the station and it is very beautiful to visit.
Obviously, you can also notice, the French-influenced style (Liberty?) is very characteristic and makes this building one of the monuments of the town.
It is the station from which the rack railway departs that takes you to the cable car to the top of Phan Xi Pang, the highest mountain in all of Indochina.

Viale Roma a Sestri Levante.
Una via della mia cittadina, quella via Roma che con i suoi portici arriva alla stazione ferroviaria.
Non mi viene in mente molto da scrivere su questa via… che vi basti la foto!
Unica menzione per un paio di attività storiche della via: la Neigra (il bar tabaccheria sempre aperto) e Baicin (il barbiere storico di Sestri).

Non ero ancora riuscito a scattare una bella foto della nuova piazza della stazione di Sestri Levante che, da quando è stata rinnovata, è sicuramente più bella.
Qualche giorno fa, complice una bella giornata di sole, sono riuscito a realizzare un bello scatto in hdr.

Flåm è un villaggio norvegese di circa 500 abitanti, nella parte finale dell’Aurlandsfjord, una diramazione del Sognefjord. Il villaggio è collocato nel comune di Aurland, nella contea di Vestland, in Norvegia. È toccato dalla strada europea E16. Il toponimo Flåm compare nel 1340 come Flaam. Esso deriva dal dativo plurale della parola flá che significa “piana, ampio pezzo di terra”, e si riferisce alle pianure alluvionali create dal fiume Flåm.

Il mercato di Maeklong noto come il train market

Il mercato di Maeklong noto come il train market.
Uno dei posti più strani che ho visitato in Thailandia è questo mercato che è famoso perché è attraversato da un binario ferroviario che è attivo. Si chiama Maeklong Railway Market ed è ad un centinaio di chilometri da Bangkok. Come potete vedere è situato nei pressi di una piccola stazione ferroviaria e si sviluppa lungo il binario; tutte le volte che passa un treno le bancarelle devono tirare indietro i tavoli, i turisti (e gli avventori) si scansano, ed il treno passa.
Non è un mercatino, leggo su wikipedia che è persino uno dei più grandi della Thailandia per il pesce fresco.

La stazione della metro di Formosa Boulevard a Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
È tra le più belle e famose stazioni della metropolitana del mondo intero: Formosa Boulevard, a Kaohsiung! È veramente spettacolare ed oggi, complice la domenica e l’ora (verso le quattro del pomeriggio) era praticamente deserta, ottima da fotografare.
Progettata, nemmeno a dirlo, dall’italiano Narcissus Quagliata è una delle opere in vetro più grandi al mondo e rappresenta, nei sui trenta metri di diametro, rappresenta la la storia della vita umana.
Incredibilmente bella.
