I took this photo some time ago but I can only publish it now.
It is the view of the splendid Tuscan city taken from the tower of the city's cathedral.
You can see the various towers that dominate the historic center very well.

Famous for its historical monuments, it is one of the few provincial capitals to preserve the historic center, rich in ancient structures from various eras, completely surrounded by a sixteenth-century wall that is intact and almost unchanged over the centuries. It is a notable city of art in Italy.

Bologna “la Dotta, la Rossa e la Grassa” i suoi tetti e le sue torri fotografate scendendo dal santuario di San Luca percorrendo il lunghissimo portico devozionale.

La via che, inerpicandosi per il colle della Guardia, porta al santuario, fu inizialmente ciottolata nel 1589 dal governo cittadino. L’abitudine dei pellegrini di appendere immagini con i Misteri del Rosario agli alberi lungo il percorso, indusse nel 1640 la vicaria Olimpia Boccaferri ad iniziare la costruzione di 15 cappelle.

Lucca vista dal campanile della chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata.
L’ultima volta che sono stato a Lucca sono salito sul campanile della chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata e, dal punto più alt che ho potuto raggiungere, ho fotografato la splendida cittadina toscana con i sui bellissimi tetti di tegole di terracotta ed le sue molte torri e campanili.

Le pale eoliche a Varese Ligure

Le pale eoliche a Varese Ligure.
Uno dei fiori all’occhiello di Varese Ligure sono questi impianti eolici che da circa 15 anni (i primi inaugurati il 2006) alimentano tutte le case del comune spezzino.
Ho fatto una breve ma bella passeggiata lasciando la macchina al Passo della Cappelletta e facendo qualche passo tra queste torri, i pascoli alpini e le mucche.
Varese che dal 1999 è un comune, primo in Europa, con certificazione ambientale UNI EN ISO 14001 è sempre attenta alla sostenibilità ed al bio.

Il sentiero ad anello delle Cinque Torri a Chiavari

Il sentiero ad anello delle Cinque Torri a Chiavari.
In queste ultime settimane mi sono dedicato molto a passeggiare e a fare trekking lungo i sentieri della mia zona (e per fortuna ve ne sono molti e molto spettacolari).
Questo è quello che si vede pochi metri dopo la partenza dell’anello che parte da Chiavari (vicino all’ospedale) e arriva sempre a Chiavari (a Sanpier di Canne).
Non molto difficoltoso ma un pochino lungo (sui 15 Km).
La vista su Chiavari e sul mare però è splendida.

Torri medievali di Savona.
Una delle caratteristiche della città di Savona sono le sue torri medievali. Sparse per la città, spesso inglobate all’interno dei palazzi costruiti successivamente, fanno buona mostra di se ed accolgono i turisti provenienti dalle navi da crociera.
Come queste due, le torri Riario e Corsi proprio in fronte al porto:
