The throne of the Royal Palace in Genoa
Palazzo Stefano Balbi (better known as the Royal Palace) is an imposing structure in the historic center of Genoa, built at the beginning of the 17th century and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for about ten years now.
In 1823 the Genoese sold the palace to the Savoy family, who used it as an official residence, and brought new furnishings in addition to the already sumptuous ones previously present... obviously a throne could not be missing, which is still preserved in one of the reception rooms.
