The final part of via Nazionale towards the centre of Sestri Levante. One of the busiest streets in my Sestri is definitely via Nazionale. In addition to crossing practically the entire town of Sestri longitudinally, it is the street that hosts the greatest number of businesses and shops. This is its final part, one-way, just before the roundabout of Piazza Sant’Antonio.

The houses in via Nazionale in Sestri Levante near the underpass. When I want to go downtown on foot (or by car) from my house, there are three options: either you go through Mandela Park, or via Antica Romana Occidentale, or you go through via Nazionale. Going through via Nazionale, when you are about to arrive in the center, you come across the railway underpass and, immediately after, a series of beautiful colored houses that I tried to emphasize in these photos. This underpass has been there for as long as I can remember, but before, if I'm not mistaken, there was a level crossing with a small pedestrian underpass (always flooded when it rained).

The buildings that housed the offices of Fit in Sestri I'll tell you right away: the title may not be correct since these buildings have been used in different ways over the years. From what I believe they were part of the offices of the former Fit-Ferrotubi, the huge factory from the beginning of the last century. Later transformed into the headquarters of some municipal offices and planned to become the new headquarters of the Sestre Carabiniri. For those who don't know this place, we are at the point where Viale Dante joins Via Nazionale.

The Roman bridge of Santo Stefano in Sestri Levante and its newsstand. Every time I decide to walk from the center of my town to return home, and I pass through Via Nazionale, I always admire the Roman bridge that passes over the Gromolo torrent at the height of Villa Cattaneo.

A glimpse of Vico Gromolo in Sestri Levante. One of the modern alleys that I like to walk along when I park my car in the large parking lot of Largo Giovanni Masi (parking lot created on the roof of the Gromolo stream) to go down to Via Nazionale. The houses on the right are quite modern (I would say around fifteen years old) but they still have colors that I like a lot.

A beautiful Palace in Via Nazionale in Sestri Levante. During my walks to discover the corners of my town I really like to photograph palaces and villas. I like to photograph them because often, on the social networks where I share the images, other users comment and add experiences and stories related to the places immortalized. This is a beautiful palace, I think quite old, in Via Nazionale, not far from my house.

Questa bella villa, situata a pochi metri da dove abito io, è proprio splendida e tutte le volte che passo ricordo con piacere la signorina che vi abitava quando io ero un bambino. A particular building in Via Nazionale in Sestri Levante. Via Nazionale is certainly a modern street where the houses are, with a few exceptions, rarely more than fifty years old. This building, which is located in Pila sul Gromolo, amazed me for its style, decidedly unusual for what I know about architecture. I couldn't even say if it is modern or ancient, maybe some reader can help me.
