The Galleria Spagnoli in Sestri Levante.
This short gallery, which connects via Vincenzo Fascie with viale Dante, has the name of one of the most well-known families in Sestri in the last century: the Spagnoli family.
To tell the truth, I know practically nothing about the gallery or the family and if anyone would like to add some information, as usual, it would be very welcome.

The buildings that housed the offices of Fit in Sestri
I'll tell you right away: the title may not be correct since these buildings have been used in different ways over the years.
From what I believe they were part of the offices of the former Fit-Ferrotubi, the huge factory from the beginning of the last century. Later transformed into the headquarters of some municipal offices and planned to become the new headquarters of the Sestre Carabiniri.
For those who don't know this place, we are at the point where Viale Dante joins Via Nazionale.

Il centrale Viale Dante a Sestri Levante

The central Viale Dante in Sestri Levante.
The straight road that starts from the historic center and branches off until it reaches the Gromolo stream.
In this stretch, on the left of the photo, the town's elementary schools.
The pavement has recently (a few years) been renewed and restructured and now hosts both a short cycle path (not very functional) and these little trees.

Una casa particolare in viale Dante a Sestri Levante.
All’incrocio tra viale Dante Alighieri e via Stati Uniti si trova uno dei lati di questo bel palazzone che mi piace per la sua forma e decorazione.
Come molti sapranno in Liguria (e in particolar modo nei centri storici liguri) lo spazio è sempre stato poco ed i soldi da spendere ancora meno.
Per cui si trovano edifici dalle forme particolari.
In questo caso è un palazzo molto lungo ma sottile e su questo lato (laterale) ci sono solo delle finestre dipinte!

Viale Dante a Sestri Levante

Viale Dante a Sestri Levante.
Una delle vie centrali della mia Sestri ridisegnate (o comunque rinnovate) con la demolizione dei capannoni della ex Fit.
Gli alberi sono rimasti ma al posto di edifici industriali è sorto il complesso dove ci sono alcuni negozi e la Coop.

Questa nella foto è la via, ciclabile, più centrale di Sestri Levante: Corso Colombo. Con, sulla destra, l’inizio di viale Dante. Ripresa con il mio grand’angolo ed elaborata in hdr.
