The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Guard.
A few weeks ago, finally, I went to see the Sanctuary of the Guard; the important place of worship for all the Genoese.
I did not make a vow so I did not walk up (but with an excellent taxi with a discounted rate here all the info) and then we went down along the former cycle path where the tracks passed to Genoa Bolzaneto.
A beautiful day and, even going up by car, it was more than 10 km to go down!

All photos were taken with a camera Canon EOS M100 and lens Tamron 16-300.

The sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Guardia – more simply known as the sanctuary of the Guardia or la Guardia – is the most important Marian sanctuary in Liguria and one of the most important in Italy.
